Privacy Policy

Proselle is an iOS application operated by Reondir LLC, a North Carolina company. This policy applies to the Proselle app and related services. The publication URL is:

This policy describes the product's current data practices. Reondir LLC may update it as the product or law changes.

What Proselle does locally

Proselle records audio only after you tap Record and uses Apple Speech or an explicitly downloaded WhisperKit model to turn that audio into text on your device. Audio is held in memory for transcription and is discarded; Proselle does not save or upload your recordings. Transcripts, drafts, saved sessions, titles, cleanup choices, goals, vocabulary hints, card profiles, and custom templates are stored locally on your device.

Optional AI features

Organize, Pick for me, and Do it all are optional actions. Before the first action, Proselle asks for permission to send text. Only after your explicit tap does Proselle send the selected sentence text and the minimum request data needed to perform the action to Reondir LLC's backend. Audio is never sent.

The backend uses Supabase for authentication, quota enforcement, and service operation, and Anthropic's commercial API to process the request. These services may process request content under their applicable terms and privacy policies. Proselle does not promise zero retention by those providers. Reondir LLC does not use your private transcript content to train a model without a separate, explicit consent process.

You can withdraw AI-sharing consent in Settings. Withdrawal stops future optional AI requests; it cannot recall content already processed by a provider.

Account and subscription information

Proselle may create an anonymous service identity when an optional AI action needs the backend. The backend stores pseudonymous identifiers, request counts, timestamps, token usage, cost totals, and hashed subscription identifiers for authentication, quotas, abuse prevention, billing verification, and service protection. It does not store transcript text in usage records.

Apple processes purchases through StoreKit. Proselle receives subscription verification information, not your payment-card number. Apple controls billing, cancellation, and refunds.

Model downloads and sharing

If you explicitly download a WhisperKit model, the download host may receive ordinary network information such as an IP address and request metadata. After download, local Whisper transcription does not require a network connection. Copy, Share, file export, and saving images to Photos happen only when you choose a destination; those destinations may retain the copies you send.

Information Proselle does not collect for its own purposes

Proselle includes no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking SDK, or crash-reporting SDK. Proselle does not sell personal information, read your photo library, store audio, or upload audio for transcription.

Security and retention

Reondir LLC uses reasonable safeguards, including device-local storage, Keychain-backed service credentials, authenticated backend requests, and content-free usage records. No security measure can guarantee absolute security. Local data remains until you delete it, delete the app, or otherwise remove it through the operating system. Provider and hosting retention is governed by the applicable provider configuration and terms.

Your choices and requests

You may use Proselle locally without enabling optional AI sharing. You may withdraw consent, delete local sessions from the app or device, and cancel subscriptions through Apple. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@proselle.com. If you use an optional AI service identity, contact us at that address to request assistance with deletion of service-side account data. We will explain any data that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or accounting reasons.

Children

Proselle is not directed to children under 13, and Reondir LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

Reondir LLC may update this policy as Proselle changes. The updated version will be posted at https://proselle.com/privacy with a new effective date.
